| 工作描述： |
1. Manage the design and development process from RFQ to launch 2. Work with product engineering to define the appropriate technical solution / value proposition and integrate Lydall design advantages into the final design proposal. 3. Work with launch engineering / operations on the development of new process and tooling technology to increase Lydall’s competiveness and profitability 4. Develop/maintain relationships with key customer engineering groups, using regular contact to identify customer issues that could benefit from Lydall solutions and to establish/maintain Lydall’s reputation as the key solution-provider for thermal and acoustical automotive applications. 5. Provide technical support to Account Managers for sales activities required to maintain and grow business on assigned projects and/or accounts, including design/development/validation of proposed solutions, assistance at customer presentations, participation in Technical Reviews, interpretation/co-development of customer Statement of Requirements, submission of detailed technical proposals and reports, and other activities required to support assigned projects. 6. Prioritize tasks of local, internal and external technically 7. Develop, integrate and manage the processes required to effectively and efficiently complete applications engineering and design engineering functions 8. Lead interface with customer technical groups for launch programs and engineering changes, including participation in PDT meetings, coordination and support of prototype build events and other key customer events. 9. Assist Lydall Operations and Design/Engineering activities in the launch of programs and engineering changes, including participation in status/update meetings with affected activities on key programs, feasibility reviews, initiation and coordination of design requests, and other internal technical activities required for the successful launch of new programs. 10. Drive new programs and engineering changes through each development milestone to meet objectives for profitability, timing and technical performance. 11. Develop and sustain technical expertise on the products and related applications to provide product recommendations. Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all Company products and their applications, manufacturing processes and applicable safety & health concerns. In addition, maintain working knowledge of competitive product information. 12. Present professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Confidentiality and privileged information must be maintained. 13. Travel as necessary to customer locations, manufacturing plants, out-of-office sales meetings, trade shows or seminars. 14. All other duties as assigned. 15. Must be able to work extended hours when required. 16. Must adhere to all company policies and safety rules. |
